PHILOSOPHY
Any philosophy of wedding photography must take into account two seemingly incompatible entities-- Art and Commerce. My goal in business is to offer a product of the highest quality, backed by impeccable service, offered at a compelling value. I try to run my business using ethical and sustainable business practices and I try to make every contact with a client, including the wedding day we spend together, fun and stress-free.

My goal as a photographer is to create a set of images that my clients will cherish for the rest of their lives. I practice what has become known as "Wedding Photojournalism". Actually what I've done is taken the same creative style that publications around the globe depend on me for and apply it to the weddings I shoot. I've honed my skills by working for some of the most prestigious publications in the world over the last 25 years.

I intenionally accept a limited number of wedding bookings each year. Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life and each wedding I shoot is special to me.
Typically I will begin my shooting day by photographng the bride and groom preparing for the wedding. If the facility allows, the ceremony is photographed discreetly. In fact, I spend the entire day trying to be as inconspicuous as possible. I don't interupt or interfere. I try to capture the true emotion of the day, which is so much more wonderful than anything that could possibly be posed or directed. Clients often remark that they don't even remember me shooting photographs.

After the wedding is complete, I try to deliver the proofs as quickly as possible. Clients usually receive their proofs within two weeks of their weddings. Many of my clients have returned from their honeymoon to find their wedding photos waiting for them. The slideshows I create are burned to DVD and playable on standard DVD players. I take great joy in watching my clients react to their first viewing of their slideshow.

One of the most special aspects of my wedding packages are the fine art prints that I create for my clients. These archival prints are created using a special pigment inkset and finely textured papers. They are truly unique.
